DIAS Infrared GmbH (hereinafter: DIAS) takes the protection of your privacy very seriously. For DIAS, it is a matter of course to comply with legal regulations in regards to data privacy. With this data privacy statement, DIAS would like to inform you how personal data is collected and transmitted.
DIAS collects and uses your personal data solely within the scope of the conditions outlined in the Data Protection Law of the Federal Republic of Germany. The implementations mentioned below serve to provide information pertaining to the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data.

1. Collection of personal data
Personal data is information which may be used to obtain knowledge of your identity. This includes personal information such as your name, address, telephone number and email address. Personal data, in turn, is divided into inventory data and usage data.
Personal data is collected and used when a contractual relationship between yourself and DIAS is established, modified or formulated for these purposes. The same applies in regards to registration, where affected data includes the first name, surname and email address.
We expressly point out that we are obligated to provide personal data upon request to the respective authorities, insofar this is required for the purpose of criminal prosecution, protection against threats to public safety, or the enforcement of intellectual property rights.

2. Processing personal data
Personal data, which you provide DIAS with, will only be saved, processed and used for processing your requests or submissions. Data is only transmitted to third parties if this is required for concluding a contract or for invoicing purposes, or with prior consent. Consent that has been previously granted in this regard may be withdrawn at any time with effect in the future. Personal data that has been saved will be deleted when the consent is withdrawn, the purpose for which it was saved has been cancelled, or storage is not permitted for other legal reasons.

3. No transfer of personal data
Personal data is not sold, hired out or transmitted to third parties, unless DIAS is legally obligated to do so.

4. Use of cookies
DIAS uses cookies in order to simplify the use of the website for its users, as well as to ascertain how users use the website. In this manner, DIAS is able to constantly improve the website’s quality. You can prevent your computer from saving these cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser. 5. Installed technology

The DIAS website uses social plugins (“Plugins“) “by facebook.com (www.facebook.com) (operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA) and xing.com. (www.xing.com) (operated by the Xing AG, Gänsemarkt 43, 20354 Hamburg). The Facebook plugins can be identified with the white “f” on a blue background or by the “thumbs up” sign. The Xing plugins can be recognised by an “X” or with the designation “Xing”. When this website, which contains such a plugin, is accessed, a direct connection between your browser and the server from Facebook or Xing is created. The content of the plugin is transmitted directly from Facebook or Xing to your browser, and immediately incorporated into this website.
If a website with a “plugin” is called up, social networks such as Facebook and Xing are able to collect various data. This included data such as the time of the visit to the site, the corresponding website address or URL on which the user is, technical data regarding the IP address, the browser used as well as the user’s operating system. Information concerning data collection and usage in regards to Xing can be viewed at http://www.xing.com/privacy and in regards to Facebook at www.facebook.com/about/privacy.

6. Google Analytics
The DIAS website uses Google Analytics. Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer to help analyse the usage of the website. The information generated by the cookies about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google uses this information to evaluate the use of the website. We expressly point out that the information collected here may be passed on to third parties, if this required by law or in as far as the third parties process this information on behalf of Google. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data saved by Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. You have the right to request information from DIAS in regards to the personal data that has been saved concerning your person. This information can also be sent to you electronically upon request.

Through the use of Twitter and/or “re-tweet” functions, the web pages you visit will be linked to your Twitter account and made known to other users and your followers.
