DIAS Systems GmbH with extended business field

The company DIAS Systems GmbH, a subsidiary company of DIAS Infrared GmbH in Dresden, has expanded their business operation to infrared thermometers (pyrometers) with immediate effect.

Necessary distribution channels for these products will be built-up and expanded together with development and production. Beneath Prof. Dr. Guenter Hofmann, physicist Rolf Breternitz was appointed as managing director from May 1st 2008.

Mr. Breternitz was managing director of IMPAC Infrared GmbH for many years and may be recognized as founding father of worldwide successful IMPAC group. His large experience in infrared temperature measurement forms a very good basis for future progress of the DIAS companies.

PYROVIEW 380 and PYROVIEW 380 compact

September 2007

New DIAS Infrared Cameras PYROVIEW 380 and PYROVIEW 380 compact

The industrial thermal imaging camera series PYROVIEW and the cost-effective infrared camera series PYROVIEW compact dhave been extended by DIAS Infrared GmbH with new fixed cameras for measurements of higher temperatures.

In addition to the standard models PYROVIEW 380L and PYROVIEW 380L compact (384 × 288 pixels, temperature measurement range –20 °C to 500 °C, spectral range 8 µm to 14 µm) the new models PYROVIEW 320M, G and F (industrial and compact version) with 384 × 288 pixels, temperature measurement ranges between 100 °C and 1250 °C and spectral ranges from 3 µm to 5 µm, 4.8 µm to 5.2 µm or near 3.9 µm are introduced. State-of-the-art microbolometers are used in all cameras. The data are transferred via Fast Ethernet interface with a maximum frame rate of 50 frames per second.

Infrared Detectors

January 2007

New Cost-effective Infrared Detectors with High Detectivity

DIAS Infrared GmbH extends the range of its pyroelecric high detectivity infrared detectors by some new types. So the low-cost types LTA and LTAI which are available also temperature-compensated are introduced now.

For applications in the gas analysis dual and four channel detectors were developed. The detectors stand out due to extremely high detectivity as well as low microphonic effect and can be delivered with almost any IR filter windows.

PYROVIEW 380L compact

October 2006

Compact Real time Infrared Camera

With the new PYROVIEW 380L compact DIAS Infrared GmbH offers a small robust infrared camera for measurement of temperature distributions in laboratories as well as factories. This camera with an uncooled microbolometer array has a geometrical resolution of 384 × 288 pixels and a thermal resolution of 0.08 °C.

The data are transferred via Ethernet interface with a maximum frame rate of 50 frames per second. Temperature measurements, e.g. for development purposes or stationarry solutions for fire prevention or surveillance of operating facilities, may be done with an excellent time and geometrical resolution for a reasonable price.

High Temperature Infrared Camera PYROVIEW 640N compact with Fast Ethernet Interface

The established infrared camera series PYROVIEW has been extended by DIAS Infrared GmbH with the new high temperature camera PYROVIEW 640N compact using a spectral range in the near infrared region.

A continuous temperature measurement range from 600 °C up to 1500 °C is realised with a resolution of 640 × 480 pixels and a measuring frequency of 25 Hz. Digital data transmission is made via Fast Ethernet interface. The size of the compact housing is approximately 60 mm × 60 mm × 160 mm.

The camera is available in different housings.
