PYROSPOT Serie 11

April 2010

New fiber-optic pyrometers PYROSPOT Series 11 - fully operable from the outside

With the PYROSPOT Series 11 DIAS Infrared GmbH brings four new pyrometer for industrial applications on the market. The devices offer the advantage, that they already include a large display and can be operated comfortably with keys. The emissivity and other parameters can be set directly on the device. The IP65 housing ensures operation even under harsh environmental conditions. Other advantages of the new pyrometer are small spot sizes of 0.7 mm, quick response time of 2 ms, an integrated LED and laser-light pilot and an RS485 interface. Typical applications are in the steel, ceramic and metal industries and in soldering and in the furnaces to be found.

4-Kanal-Infrarotsensor

January 2010

New sensors for demanding applications for an attractive exhibition price

DIAS Infrared GmbH announces a further extension of their product portfolio of pyroelectric sensors. The sensors are suitable because of their excellent signal to noise ratio especially for demanding applications in gas sensing and spectrometry, but they can certainly also be used for special applications in temperature measurement and personal detection.

The previously offered Single Element Detector to be supplemented by a new sensor in TO39 housing that has an integrated operational amplifier and the current operation is working, however, is the usual pin-sensors in voltage operation, since it does not require a negative voltage.

New in the product line are sensors in the TO8 housing, working in the current operation and will be offered both with and without thermal compensation. Possibly two to four channels, which can be equipped with different filter windows in the spectral range between 1.3 microns and more than 25 microns according to the customer.

For all of the pyroelectric sensors of DIAS Infrared GmbH from Single Element Detector to the linear sensor array with 256 pixels there are attractive exhibiton prices on the SENSOR + TEST fair.

PYROSPOT DP 10N

December 2009

Fast pyrometer for the measurement of metallic surfaces from 50 °C

The series 10 of the digital pyrometer has now been extended to include the alternating light pyrometer PYROSPOT DP 10N.

The device is suitable for measuring temperatures from 50 °C to 1200 °C and in particular on metallic surfaces. The measurement at short wavelengths (2.0 µm to 2.8 µm) reduces errors due to emissivity variations. By using the alternating light principle results in a high reproducibility of the measurements.

The integrated LED or laser aiming light or, alternative, the through-lens sighting, enables to focus the measuring object exactly. The temperature linear standard output signal of 0/4 to 20 mA allows easy implementation in existing measuring and controlling systems. The device is equipped with integrated, galvanically isolated RS485 interface which allows parameterising and software evaluation even in bus systems. The emissivity is also adjustable via push-buttons and display directly on the device. All parameters can be easily adjusted to the application by using the comfortable parameterizing and evaluation software PYROSOFT Spot.

PYROSPOT DGE 10N

October 2009

Fast Pyrometer PYROSPOT DGE 10N presented by DIAS

The digital pyrometers of DIAS Infrareds PYROSPOT Series 10 has now been extended with the fast pyrometers PYROSPOT DGE 10N.

The devices are suitable for temperature from 100 °C on various surfaces such as metals, graphite and ceramic. The measurement at short wavelengths (2.0 µm to 2.6 µm) reduces errors due to emissivity variations. With a response time of just 2 ms (t95), these pyrometers are suitable for very fast measurements. The vario optics with quartz protective glass allows small spot sizes (distance ratio of 100:1 and 200:1).

Infrared Camera MobIR® M8

September 2009

MobIR® M8 - small, low cost, and many functions - THE infrared camera for professional application

DIAS Infrared GmbH (Dresden) has introduced a new camera to their exiting portfolio of infrared instruments. The MobIR® M8 is a portable infrared thermal imaging camera and aimed at entry level users as well as at professional users of infrared measurement. Typical applications include building Thermographic work, electrical checks and maintenance inspections of mechanical equipment where non-contact temperature measurement can be beneficial to maintenance programs and survey work.

The MobIR® M8 is a fully portable camera, weighing only 350 g. The camera is not only small and handy, but has a variety of innovative features including infrared video recording up to 30 minutes, the ability to add audio and text comments to an image and a built-in laser for target identification.

The MobIR® M8 works using an uncooled Microbolometer array with 160 x 120 pixels and has a measuring range from -20 °C to 250 °C, which can be optionally extended to 350 °C. The thermal images and visual images are stored either in the camera's internal memory or on a mini SD card.

The camera can be configured for various applications using the built-in functions and the Thermographer can add moveable measurement points to the image and set temperature alarms and isotherms. A full collection of PYROSOFT software packages are available for different levels of sophistication to aid processing of the thermal images. The Compact version is designed for off-line editing, measurement and easy report writing while the Professional version has enhanced features with real-time capture, video replay, alarming, trends, profiling and many more useful tools.
