Based on DIAS pyrometers the temperature switch PYROSWITCH has been developed.Is a hot object placed in the beam path of the temperature switch, a switching process will be triggered when a temperature threshold has been exceeded. The threshold temperature (set point) can be set between 200 °C and 1800 °C directly at the device. The switching time is very short (1ms). With various fixed optics, the beam path of the temperature switch can be optimally adapted to the geometric conditions at the measurement location. The electrical switching signal is output via a potential-free PhotoMOS relay. A status LED indicates the status of "switch-on". Switching between L/H and H/L can be done on the device. For the optical alignment of the temperature switch there is an LED pilot light. The unit is housed in a rugged steel housing (IP 65). Accessories such as brackets, air purge units and cooling jackets are available. Applications for the temperature switch are for example: detecting and counting or the positioning of hot objects, inter alia, steel mills and forges.
