DIAS PYROSPOT series 54 and 56 – New types expand the range of products

The hitherto existing fixed pyrometers with IP65 stainless steel housing of PYROSPOT series 54 and 56 provide precise and fast temperature measurements in the near infrared range from 200 °C to 3000 °C. Now there are two new pyrometer types in the middle infrared range around 5 µm wavelength, in the temperature range from 100 °C to 2500 °C, for application in the glass industry as well as in the long-wave range from 8 µm to 14 µm for measurements on non-metals and coated materials between –40 °C and 1000 °C.

The devices have a fast response time of 10 ms and have small measurement field diameters from 2.6 mm. A double laser is used as an aiming aid. A 0/4 to 20 mA temperature linear output, a galvanically isolated RS-485 interface with Modbus RTU protocol, a maximum/minimum value storage and a switching output provide an easy implementation in process measurement technology and control. The pyrometer of series 56 have a display for measured values. In combination with the keys on the back of the device the parameters can be adjusted. An extensive accessory range and last but not least attractive prices are further features of the successful PYROSPOT series 54 and 56.
