New compact pyrometer PYROSPOT Series 54 for industrial applications

The new PYROSPOT Series 54 combines our established and proven measurement electronics with a very compact stainless steel round housing. The new devices are characterized by very long temperature ranges (e.g. 600 °C to 3000 °C), very small spot sizes (from 3.5 mm) and very short response times (from 2 ms) caused by a newly developed aiming and targeting help.

In addition to the proven laser pilot light the pyrometers of series 54 can be ordered with an integrated video camera module which shows the actual spot size, the current temperature value and many more important parameters in real-time. For the targeting of the device or for permanent temperature display on location the new small and low-priced TFT monitor can be used, which can be connected directly to the pyrometer without any further power supply. All devices are equipped with the standard 0/4 to 20 mA analog output and of course with the DIAS typical bus-compatible RS-485 interface with the proven Modbus RTU data protocol. This digital interface allows for the first time in connection with the also revised computer software PYROSOFT Spot a data recording in real-time on standard computers. The new developed stainless steel accessories contains mounting angles, air purge units, ball flanges as well as cooling jackets and is suitable for rough industry conditions. Typical applications for these devices will be mainly in the steel and metal industry, the furnace construction, soldering and welding equipment as well as the ceramic industry. The new compact pyrometer series 54 integrates itself seamlessly in our wide product portfolio which will be expanded with new device variants in the future.
