New compact pyrometers with Ethernet interface

23. Mar 2021

DIAS Infrared is expanding its range of pyrometer products for non-contact temperature measurement with the new PYROSPOT Series 47. The pyrometers have an Ethernet interface which allows data transfer to local networks. The pyrometer parameters can be optimally adapted to the application via an integrated web server or the Modbus-TCP protocol. The parameterization and recording of measured values can also be carried out using the software PYROSOFT Spot or PYROSOFT Spot Pro.

The pyrometers in the compact IP65 stainless steel housing enable use even in harsh environmental conditions. With response times (t95) from 5 ms, the devices are also suitable for fast measuring tasks. Various fixed optics allow small measuring field diameters from 1.6 mm. The alignment on the measuring object is done by a laser aiming light adapter or an optionally integrated LED aiming light. A temperature linear standard output signal 0/4 to 20 mA and a maximum/minimum value memory are also available.

The currently available five device types enable non-contact temperature measurements between -40 °C and 2500 °C in different spectral ranges. This means that there are many possible applications in industrial process measurement technology.

Pyrometer type Temperaturbereiche Spektralbereich Anwendungsbeispiele
DT 47L -40 °C to 1000 °C 8 µm to 14 µm Non-metals, coated metals
DA 47G 50 °C to 2500 °C around 5 µm Glass surfaces
DA 47F 100 °C to 2500 °C around 3.9 µm Measurement through flames and combustion gases
DA 47MF 50 °C to 1000 °C 3.5 µm to 4.0 µm Metals, semiconductors
DA 47M 20 °C to 1000 °C 3.0 µm to 5.0 µm Ceramics, metals
